We are committed to fostering a school environment where every student feels safe, happy, and included. To ensure we are all working toward the same goals, we would like to share our Student Code of Conduct, which is anchored in our "Blue Jays SOAR" values.
At Juniper Elementary, we ask all students to remember that they are an important part of our school community. By following these principles, we can make our school a great place for learning and fun.
We ask every student to embody the following four pillars:
- S - Safety: I will act in a way that protects myself and others.
- O - Ownership: I will take pride in doing what is right.
- A - Achievement: I will show my best effort in all that I do.
- R - Respect: I will be kind and helpful to myself and others.
In the Classroom
- Be ready to learn and give your best effort.
- Use a quiet voice and kind words.
- Take care of classroom materials.
- Follow teacher directions and participate in discussions.
In the Hallway
- Walk at all times.
- Use a quiet voice.
- Stay in line when walking in and out of the building.
On the Playground
- Listen for the whistle or bell.
- Include others in your play.
- Use equipment properly and take turns.
- Report any problems to an adult immediately.
In the Cafeteria
- Stay seated until dismissed.
- Use an inside voice and kind words.
- Leave your area clean by throwing away your trash.
Technology Use
- Only use devices and apps as directed by your teacher.
- Charge your device when the battery is low.
- Respect the privacy of others—no pictures of other students.
- We follow the JSD Cell Phone Policy
In the Bathroom
- Use the facilities appropriately.
- Flush after use and wash your hands.

Estamos comprometidos a fomentar un entorno escolar donde cada estudiante se sienta seguro, feliz e incluido.
